Its fragrance enlivens the emotions, bringing conscious awareness into the mind. Tulsi (Ocimum sanctum) exhibits anti-oxidant, purifying, awakening, grounding benefits to skin, respiratory passages and psyche.

  The fragrance is stimulating and awakening; it is spicy, slightly clove-like (it s the eugenol), and you might notice a very faint, sheer tinge of a pinky-copper color which is from being distilled in copper.
